A proposal to assign a senior official at the Banque du Lebanon to the Ministry of Finance

Sources said that Youssef Khalil, a senior official at the Banque du Lebanon, will appoint a finance minister in the proposed new government formation that Prime Minister-designate Najeeb Mikati will carry to the presidential palace on Friday.
She added that it is proposed that Abdullah Abu Habib, the former Lebanese ambassador to Washington, should take over the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Mikati told local media earlier on Friday that the government would announce in the afternoon.
